Research Description:

Study Description: Correlating Whole Genome Information and Nuclear Remnants from Dried Blood Samples
Objective: This study aims to correlate whole genome information with nuclear remnants recovered from dried blood samples. The ultimate goal is to build a synthetic profile that could be used in the future to reconstruct a viable nucleus suitable for somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT).
Methods: 1. Sample Collection: - Recruit participants to provide dried blood samples. - Collect control samples to establish baseline measurements.
2. Genomic Analysis: - Extract and sequence DNA from dried blood samples to obtain whole genome information. - Analyze the genomic data to identify key markers and remnants of nuclear material.
3. Nuclear Remnant Recovery: - Develop and optimize techniques to recover nuclear remnants from dried blood samples. - Characterize the recovered nuclear remnants to understand their composition and integrity.
4. Data Correlation: - Correlate the genomic data with the characteristics of the recovered nuclear remnants. - Identify patterns and relationships that could inform the reconstruction of viable nuclei.
Sample Size and Control:
Adequate sample size will be determined based on statistical power analysis to ensure reliable results.
Control samples will be included to account for variability and to establish a baseline for comparison.
Expected Outcomes:
Establish a comprehensive synthetic profile of nuclear remnants and genomic information.
Provide foundational data for future research aimed at reconstructing viable nuclei for somatic cell nuclear transfer.
Participant Recruitment:
Individuals interested in participating should follow the instructions on crowdwise.bio when available for more details.
Informed consent will be obtained from all participants, and ethical guidelines will be strictly followed.
Ethical Considerations:
The study will be conducted in accordance with ethical guidelines and regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and well-being of all participants.
Conclusion: This study seeks to bridge the gap between genomic information and nuclear remnants, paving the way for future advancements in somatic cell nuclear transfer and pave the way for immortality for Humanity.
